All About U.S. features Deer Isle native Hannah for the state of Maine. The book profiles 50 kids—one from each state—to compile a diverse portrait of American childhood. It’s the follow up to This Is How We Do It: One Day in the Lives of Seven Kids from around the World by Matt Lamothe. Both titles are available at SPL.

Sealskin is a collection of Jeff Dworsky photographs that chronicles life in Stonington and Isle au Haut decades earlier. The title is suggestive of selkies, mythological creatures that shapeshift between human and seal forms. Although selkies can have relationships with humans, they always long to return to the sea.
